In episode #045, Liz Shaw shares her expertise as a registered dietitian nutritionist as well as her personal experiences with infertility, IVF, and failed frozen embryo transfers.

Liz has worked in and researched the fertility nutrition realm of dietetics for over 5 years and has authored two books related to this topic, Fertility Foods Cookbook (co-authored 2017) and The Stress-Free IVF Nutrition Guide (2018). We discuss food that can be beneficial for fertility as well as food that may not be as supportive of fertility.

We also discuss Liz’s experience with infertility, what led her to try IVF, and how she coped with her loss which included two failed frozen embryo transfers (FETs). She encourages us to remember that everyone’s story is different, but everyone’s story matters.
