Ep47- Erin Iwanusa – Ambiguous Grief and Unexplained Recurrent Pregnancy Loss

Last updated May 24, 2021 | 0 comments

In episode #047, Erin shares her story of recurrent miscarriage. Following three losses, she and her husband sought the advice of an IVF specialist. The specialist could not pinpoint a cause for the losses and said she could not help them. We have a conversation about how to process grief and what to consider when moving forward after unexplained miscarriages.

Erin’s area of expertise is shame resilience, and how that relates to pregnancy loss for women and couples. She also specializes in grief and ambiguous grief. She is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice, and owns and runs a large practice in New York City that focuses on anxiety and depression using evidence-based practices.
