Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) Tori Sauer shares her expertise on improving egg quality for fertility.
In episode #093, Tori shares her personal story of loss as well as her expertise as a nutritional therapy practitioner (NTP). After her miscarriage, Tori was not satisfied with her doctor’s explanation that miscarriages were just “becoming more common”. She dove into her own research on nutrition and lifestyle, and she start implementing some changes. This eye-opening information led her to seek professional education, and Tori became a NTP through the Nutritional Therapy Association. Today she has her own business, and she educates and supports women struggling with fertility issues.
Tori helps her clients to prepare their bodies for conception and pregnancy by optimizing egg quality and regulating hormones and menstrual cycles. Some women come to her on hormonal birth control, and Tori helps them to get off of it and remedy any underlying issues that contributed to them getting on the pill in the first place. Healthy nutrition and lifestyle isn’t just for women, though – we also talk about sperm quality and what the men can do to improve the chances of healthy conception and pregnancy.
Topics Discussed: missed miscarriage, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), egg quality, sperm quality, nutritional therapy, nutritional therapy practitioner (NTP), pre-conception care, bio-individuality, recurrent pregnancy loss, infertility, hormone imbalance, hormone balancing, estrogen dominance, hormonal birth control
