Ep71- Monica Cox – Infertility and Miscarriage Related to High Natural Killer Cells

Last updated Nov 9, 2021 | 0 comments

In episode #071, Monica shares her personal story of loss as well as her expertise as a functional diagnostic nutrition practitioner and infertility expert.
While doctors told her that there was nothing she could do to improve her likelihood of conception, Monica dug deep into the root causes of her infertility. Through medical testing, Monica learned that she had high natural killer cells, and she began making some dramatic diet and lifestyle changes.

Monica went through three frozen embryo transfers (FETs) with immune-suppressing drugs. These FETs resulted in two miscarriages and one baby boy. Two months after her final failed transfer, she found out her diet and lifestyle changes paid off – she was pregnant naturally for the first time ever!

In this episode, we discuss physical and emotional healing after miscarriage as well as how to determine the diet and the lifestyle changes you can make to improve your fertility.

Topics Discussed: high natural killer cells, autoimmune disease, in vitro fertilization (IVF), frozen embryo transfer (FET), failed FET, immune-suppressing drugs, diet and lifestyle changes after miscarriage
